Photograms date back to the very beginings of photography, over 150 years ago and have been the fascination of many artists ever since. What you see here is my 'art-jar' collection, which is a body of work that I have been developing and refining for over ten years. When creating the collection I employ a variety of processes and techniques. Some are made by exposing objects inside the jar, some by using the jar and images I have collected and others by making my own negatives and exposing both the negative and jar to light sensitive papers.
All of my works begin life as a photogram.
